Create beautiful Joomla websites with a flexible layouts from iJoomla.com
I've created a for Joomla & Mambo. Chatango is a free service that enables you to put a chat box into any almost web page, so that your visitors can chat with you without leaving your page. This module displays the live chat box with configurable options.
This module has now been updated for Joomla! 1.5. The updated module is here.
Here is the link to download the free Chatango module. You need to sign up for your free account at Chatango to use this.

Great module. Let's see hot it works. out.

a DEMO please!!!
This is a test
Another one.
this isn't the live chat!!! this is only a comments box!
I having trouble to lock the width of chatango to match my left column. When front page, the left column of CSS became:
#sidebar {
float:left;
width:25%;
overflow:hidden;
margin-right:-3px;
background-color: #CCCCFF;
}
With the right column of CSS as:
#sidebar-2 {
float:right;
width:20%;
overflow:hidden;
margin-left:-3px;
background-color: #CCCCFF;
}
But when some page that clicks to different page, some right column will become disappear and the default of main body will become:
#main-body {width:100%;} #content{width:83%;} #sidebar{width:17%;} #wrap{background:none;}
sometime Chat box fit accurate in left column, when move to different page, the chatbox became smaller or bigger than the column supposed to be.
Your help will be much appreicated.
Thank you
Paul
You should probably just assign absolute width to your sidebar, instead of relative (17%). Then it won't change based on different resolutions either
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
wow, some people are not too bright. anyway, looks interesting. if you know php, you should look into creating a joomla/phpFreeChat (not phpOpenChat) integration… should be relatively easy and you would make a lot of people happy.

Hello,
I am trying to find what I am doing wrong.
The chatango screen loads up great on the page, and I can type in the chatroom.
But visitors can not see me type and I can not see them type. I have a chatango account and made sure I was logged in.
Any ideas? Thanks.
Regards,
Keith
