So I was given a link to a line of Blade Server products made by a company called ClearCube. From the company name alone I was expecting so pretty fancy looking servers, perhaps even with clear cases. But I found no such thing.
I mean, I was amazed that they could deliver the full server (and desktop) functionality from a blade no taller than the width of a hard drive, but other than that they weren't all too impressive. Although, I suppose the point of blades are to slot hundreds of them in all together in one compact server room, so I guess looks aren't all that important.
I would say the one redeeming factor is that the specs list them as Linux ready, that's a smart move!
