Well, I've been thinking quite a bit about PayPerPost.com, their business model, and the idea in general. At first I thought it was just a really good idea on the founder to facilitate the placement of ads on blogs, but I'm starting to wonder if there's more to it than that.
I'm starting to wonder if the Ted Murphy (founder/CEO of PayPerPost) was perhaps a victim of one of those infamous chain emails. Some say "forward to to all your friends or you'll become a leper". Others say "send this to 10 people and Bill Gates will personally send you a check for $50". I can only surmise that Ted's read something like the following: "You must pay thousands of random bloggers to create postings for various companies and products under the guise of a grand marketing scheme, and you will be blessed with a beautiful and loving wife, 46 darling children, a dog, 40 cattle, and a large pig."
You see, it's not at all for the benefit of the advertisers or the bloggers, it's a completely machiavellian scheme.
