AdWords is an incredibly powerful and easy tool that enables advertisers to feature their website to people that are searching for, or reading about, relevant information. In fact, that's how Google funds Gmail, it places these relevant ads within your Gmail window, next to any email you are reading, contextual to the emails' contents.
Usually these ads are pretty bang on, and usually I just ignore them. But I have to admit that my eyes were drawn to this particular ad today:
This is simply a case of an advertiser creating a new text ad with whatever software they're using, and then being too lazy to notice that they never filled in the details – they saved it with the default placeholder content!
Needless to say, I just had to click it. I wonder who paid that dollar?
