So much for my web design services
I consider myself a fast and efficient worker. I've turned around a fairly decent sized website in less than a month, including design and implementation of a content management system.
Then I stumble across websitesin48hours.com, a company that allows businesses to have a full-blow website created in 48 hours, guaranteed. I'm sorry, but I just can't compete with that! Sure the site is built from a pre-defined template, and the client is obliged to supply all content within that time frame, but it's a viable option for many small businesses that want a website done fast and cost efficiently.
The plans are more or less unbeatable as far as price goes. Starting at $99 for a simple website, there's no way most web design companies would even think of taking on such a small project.
I think it's a very smart idea, and I'm sure the company will be profitable before long. ![]()
