Hi Justin, I'm not sure if you know, but you can do that just by going to your Module Manager list and click the 'New' button in top right hand corner.
This creates a plain module which has the WYSIWUG editor so you can add html and publish it to any module position you want it displayed in.

What I would like is to be able to paste in PHP code into a module, for example:

which would actually generate the PHP code as most modules either remove the code all together or just display it as text.

    Any help would be great.

I have a similar module called mod_html. However it also allows CSS/JS. I've updated this with a similar module called mod_php that allows PHP/HTML/CSS/JS. Modules are available here: http://www.fijiwebdesign.com/content/category/3/85/55/

hi Justin, can you write a new php module let's say

    i paste
    phpcode1 ||| php code2 ||| phpcode3 ||| …..goes to infinite

then i just insert a piece of code like {phpcode1} in any content item between text and get phpcode1 displayed, the same goes for phpcode2 etc, thanks.

the module is exactly a very good module, but not perfect,at least i think!

  26. Justin Cook said,

    on September 4th, 2007 at 9:17 am

@Suggester - why do you want to do that? Why not just make copies of the module?

  27. on September 21st, 2007 at 9:28 am

This is perfect! Just what I needed for my websites! You rock Justin!

hi, i'm very new to Joomla, I was looking for something to add particular look and feel of the central content area on the frontpage of a site. I downloaded your mod, but to my shame, I have no idea what to do with it!

Are there any instructions you could provide?

    Thanks for any help!

Thanks for the useful module. But, how do I align to center the custom module? Because the default alignment is left.

Thanks for the plug-in. It's just what I needed.

    I do have a question…

I've got lots of space between it and the modules above and below. It slid so far down on the page no one can see it. Do you know how I would fix that? I read something about adding line breaks. But it hasn't seemed to help. Of course, I may not be adding them in the right spots.
