Live Chat for Joomla 1.5

Web

Create beautiful Joomla websites with a flexible layout from iJoomla.com

My previous version of the live chat plugin has been very popular. So I'm happy to announce that I'm releasing the version which is compatible Joomla 1.5 natively! This version contains a couple updates and one bug fix.

I'd like to thank Rajesh of bangalorespice.com for assisting me with this update.

You can download the new module here.

The following are the updates:

  • bug fixed – font size wasn't changing
  • module is now table-less, W3C compliant
  • module is now Joomla! 1.5 compatible

Of course, you still need to sign up for a free account at Chatango to use this.

When I embed on rockettheme template versatility 4, other flash components and simple-image-rotator stops working. Is there a fix for this? Thankyou in advance.

I have a question about your chat program. I installed it in less than 5 minutes. I successfully got an account with "Chatango" -> and the website recognised the Chantango program without a problem. (Communication was possible).

However, in Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP, I noticed that the website is no longer recognised when I open a new window, and try to access the website. The issue of "not recognising" the website pertains only to the main page – where the chat sessions is available/viewable.

In FireFox, there are no issues.

    Any suggestions?
    Regards
    Renée

Nice software. Is there a way to show the online/offline status of the operator?

not working for me in joomla 1.5.9. it messes up all of my pages, unless i publish it in certain positions such as the footer or syndicate or debug, but if i put it in the left or right position, it causes problems. not sure how to explain it.

I'm having problems installing this module to jppnla 1.5.8 version, getting the following error message "Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package."

    Can someone help me please

Very nice! It works well with 1.5.9 Legacy IF ALL modules are placed on the left. If I place the chat mod on the right the bottom/footer mod moves up and underneath it. If I place the chat mod on the left and other modes on the right all mods belonging on right shrink and show on the left with a blank area on the right. I like it, I want to keep it but HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM?
