I've been using remote access for a very long time, from the early days of VNC, when people still thought that remote access was extremely cool and required magic skills. Nowadays, there are many applications that enable you to access your home PC remotely, so you have a lot of options (and the cool factor seems to have diminished somewhat).
RemotePC is a Remote Access service that is paid on a monthly subscription basis. The good thing about it is that you don't have to have extreme technical skills to be able to use it. Nor do you need to install client software on any machine but your home PC. What this means is that you should be able to access your home PC from any computer with an Internet connection. This is a very good thing!
You can even use it to host web-conferences, which is a pretty cool application of the technology.
